Port Wallis OutReach
Every Christmas we support a local rehabilitation centre where people, wrestling with addictions, must spend Christmas away from family. Simple gifts such as Tim’s Cards, hats, mitts, scarves, daytimers and toiletries along with a small present is prepared for each gentleman. We are their only Christmas. Your support through the Benevolent Fund is greatly appreciated.
Christian Development and Education
More than Sunday School.
Three levels of Formation – Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced.
Every Sunday on the Port Wallis FaceBook Page, three 10-15 minute posts will deliver Christian Development Sessions for these various levels.
Beginners is geared more toward Sunday School level and has an activity.
Intermediates is for people who want a greater Biblical knowledge of a text.
Advanced is for all who want to know the theology that developed out of the text.
We will be exploring the Nativity texts from Luke. Come & expand your mind.
Walkers
Walk to Bethlehem – 8213 kms or 16,426,000 steps. Let us make this a spiritual journey with Mary and Joseph. God’s Mantra to ponder on your walk is “Fear not. I am with you each step of the way.” Please record your steps (or your kms and I will convert them) as we make our way to Bethlehem. Each Sunday in the Announcements we will note where we are on the road. Please send us your steps (or Kms) on Wednesdays before Noon. Let us make this journey together.
