Offerings? 4 ways:
= E-transfer – email@example.com
This is a quick and fantastic way to support the work of your Church Community. Sit at your home computer and away you go.
= PAR, Pre-Authorized Remittance – call or email the church and we will send you out a form. Fill it in, return it to the office and we will handle the rest. This is a great way to support your Church Family on a monthly basis.
= cheques to the Church Office – 263 Waverley Road, Dartmouth, NS B2X 2C8
Always the old faithful way of supporting your Church’s work.
= via online donation through Canada Helps. Visit this link and donate – https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/port-wallis-united-church
We have not been able to have some of our regular fund-raising Suppers.
We would ask that you consider increasing your offering perhaps by the amount that you might have spent on fundraising activities, or that you might redirect your Mission Fund offering to the General Fund since we have met our annual goal. If you are on PAR you can change your Mission offering by contacting Shelley through the Church office.
Margaret’s House is providing takeout meals and donations of money are gratefully received. Margaret’s House feeds the hungry, domestically challenged and people dealing with less than ideal situations
North Dartmouth Outreach Resource Centre (NDORC) foodbank works out of Stairs Memorial United Church. Donations can be made through your financial offerings to Port Wallis. The NDORC not only feeds the hungry but offers fellowship time, a listening ear and serves as an advocate.
The Foodbank has been getting a lot eggs lately from FeedNS and so are in need of egg cartons. We also continue to use clean plastic bags and small lidded plastic containers. Items can be dropped off on Tuesday mornings 8:30-10:00, Stairs Memorial Church – Hestor St, Dartmouth.
If you are wrestling with isolation, loneliness or need to speak to someone, call the church answering machine 902-435-3644 and we will be in contact with you as soon as we get the message.
