FROM OUR STUDENT MINISTER:
Tamsin, our student minister, is putting together a Lay Supervision Team. We are reaching out to people who we think might be a good fit, so you might receive a call about this sometime in the next few weeks.
We’ve already observed Remembrance Day this past week, but November also contains a lesser-known remembrance day: Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to memorialize transgender and gender-noncomforming people who have been lost to violence and injustice. Tamsin will be leading a special Zoom service for this day on Friday, November 20 at 11:00 am; please contact the church or email firstname.lastname@example.org for the link. Especially since we’re looking into becoming an affirming church, it’s important to be aware of observances like this.
