CALL TO WORSHIP
Christ is born!
Give God Glory!
All: Singing ~ with tune at hymn # 75 in Voices United.
All glory be to God on high and to the earth be peace,
Good Will henceforth from heaven to earth begin & never cease!
PRAYER OF APPROACH and THE LORD’S PRAYER
Eternal God, fill us with the mystery of your Love,
made manifest by your incarnation in Jesus
to whom with You and the Holy Spirit
be all glory now and forever.
It is Jesus who taught us to pray to You saying,
Our Father….. Notre Père….. Ar n-Athair…. 주님의 기도 Onze Vader… Vater unser… Padre nuestro…
LIGHTING OF THE ADVENT WREATH’S CANDLES
We light the Candle of HOPE – indefatiguable hope!
The Hope we have of a world renewed in Christ.
We light the Candle of PEACE – peace that passes all human comprehension.
The assuring peace that God is with us.
We light the candle of JOY, indwelling jubilation.
Joy that springs from the certainty of our salvation.
We light the candle of LOVE, tender acceptance and inclusion.
Love that is the greatest commandment of Christ.
Now we light the Christ Candle – God’s Light among us,
and together we say,
Let there be Light!
And the Glory of the Lord shone round about them!
