Love the LORD and serve God with faithfulness!
It is the LORD our God
who brought us from slavery to systems, schedules and powers.
It is the LORD our God
who redeemed us from death and the fear of failure.
It is the LORD our God
who preformed great signs and coincidences to calm us.
It is the LORD our God
who protected us on your journey and will be with us forever.
We will serve the LORD our God!
Amen! Let us worship the LORD our God!
INTROIT (# tune at 288 in Voices United) *
Great is your faithfulness, God my Provider,
There is no fear of You turning from me.
You never change and Your love is eternal;
As You have been You forever will be.
Great is your faithfulness! Great is your faithfulness!
Morning by morning your wonders I see!
All I have needed your hand has provided,
Great is your faithfulness, ever to me.
PRAYER OF APPROACH and the LORD’S PRAYER *
Ever Present God, Source of all Creation,
send your Spirit into this place that we may perceive You,
send your Spirit into us that we may know You
and send your Spirit before us to lead us in prayer and praise.
This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who taught us to pray to You, saying,
Our Father….. Notre Père….. Ar n-Athair…. 주님의 기도 Onze Vader… Vater unser… Padre nuestro… Baba Yetu…

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Eternal and Holy One, You have sent your light into the world
to be the light for all people
and called us to be children of the light,
and bearers of your light to the nations.
Yet we have often set your light aside.
Forgive us and guide us through the darkness
into your Kingdom of Light through Christ our Lord, Amen.
SILENT CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE OF PARDON
HYMN OF THANKSGIVING Singing ~ with tune at hymn # 95 MV.
How deep the peace, the confidence,
of those whose wrongs are forgiven.
How deep the peace, the confidence
of those whose hearts are healed.
TEACHING TIME and PRAYER
In peace, dear God, I come to You Through Jesus Christ who makes me new
And while I run or play or rest, be with those whom I love best,
Guide me in your Holy Way, as You walk with me each day.
ANTHEM – LORD, LIFT ME UP
SCRIPTURE LESSONS
First Testaments: Joshua 3: 7 – 17
Psalm 78: 1 – 7
We sing the chorus twice to begin and then when printed in the Psalm.
“My people,” says the Lord,
“hear my voice, hear my word!”
“My people, hear my teaching;
listen to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth with a parable;
I will utter hidden things, things from of old!
Things we have heard and known,
things our ancestors have told us.”
“My people,” says the Lord,
“hear my voice, hear my word!”
LORD, we will not hide your teachings from our descendants;
We will tell the next generation
of the wonderful things that God has done!
We will speak of your Power and point out your wonders!
“My people,” says the Lord,
“hear my voice, hear my word!”
God established the Torah for Israel,
and decreed statutes and laws for their descendants,
God commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children,
so that the next generation would know them,
so that children yet to be born would have guidance,
and so succeeding generations would tell their children.
“My people,” says the Lord,
“hear my voice, hear my word!”
O that all tribes and nations, and people of the earth,
should hear your voice, O God and put their trust in You.
May we never forget God’s marvelous deeds
and may we always keep God’s commands.
\
“My people,” says the Lord,
“hear my voice, hear my word!”
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end, Amen.
