PRAYER OF APPROACH and the LORD’S PRAYER *
God of the past, the present and the future,
You call us to follow You on paths unknown.
Send your Spirit to inspire us, encourage us, and guide us.
This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who taught us to pray to You, saying,
Our Father….. Notre Père….. Ar n-Athair…. 주님의 기도 Onze Vader… Vater unser… Padre nuestro… Baba Yetu…

HYMN # 149 (MV) PEACE FOR THE CHILDREN *
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of infinite love,
You have sent your Servant and Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to be our Mentor and Master, that through Him
we may become your Servants in this world.
Show us what we are not doing correctly
and then show us how to live in response to Your Guidance.
This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
SILENT CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE OF PARDON
HYMN OF THANKSGIVING Singing ~ with tune at hymn # 95 MV.
How deep the peace, the confidence,
of those whose wrongs are forgiven.
How deep the peace, the confidence
of those whose hearts are healed.
TEACHING TIME and PRAYER
In peace, dear God, I come to You Through Jesus Christ who makes me new
And while I run or play or rest, be with those whom I love best,
Guide me in your Holy Way, as You walk with me each day.

SCRIPTURE LESSONS
First Testaments: Joshua 3: 7 -17
Psalm 107
To the One who calms the storms of life,
let us give all our praise.
With the One who brings us peace in life,
let us live all our days.
Give thanks to the LORD, for God is good;
the love of God endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story—
those people whom God has gathered
from east and west, from north and south,
those who wandered in desert wastelands,
those who found no city in which to settle.
Page 3
The hungry and thirsty, whose lives were ebbing away
They cried out to the LORD,
and God delivered them from their distress.
To the One who calms the storms of life,
let us give all our praise.
With the One who brings us peace in life,
let us live all our days.
God made for them a pathway,
God brought them to a city where they could settle.
They know God and give thanks to the Lord for unfailing love and wonderful deeds
They know that God satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.
Then they cried out to the LORD,
and God delivered them from their distress.
To the One who calms the storms of life,
let us give all our praise.
With the One who brings us peace in life,
let us live all our days.
Some went out on the sea in ships;
they were merchants on the mighty waters.
They saw the works of the LORD,
they saw wonderful deeds on the mighty waters.
When the tempest arose, when the storm grew fierce,
when the winds lifted high the waves.
When the waves mounted up to the heavens
and then went down to the depths;
the courage of the strong melted away.
They stumbled and staggered like drunks;
they were at their wits’ end.
Then they cried out to the LORD,
and God delivered them from their distress.
God stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
The mighty were humbled, they were glad when it grew calm,
God was with them and guided them to a safe harbour.
To the One who calms the storms of life,
let us give all our praise.
With the One who brings us peace in life,
let us live all our days.
Let all of us give thanks to the LORD for unfailing love,
for all the wonderful deeds God has done for humanity.
Let us speak with praise in the assembly of the people.
Let us praise God in the council of the elders.
For God turns the deserts into oasis of hope,
and the parched ground into flowing springs;
God lifts the needy out of affliction
and increases the scope of what we call “family.”
Let the one who is wise heed these things
and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD.
To the One who calms the storms of life,
let us give all our praise.
With the One who brings us peace in life,
let us live all our days.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end, Amen.
